The Zurich-based and independent provider of investment solutions and technologies in the structured products market hires five experienced financial market specialists. Christian Sperschneider, Irmo Manie, Nicolas Hofstetter, Raphael Oertli and Luca Pangerc joined CAT Financial Products AG ("CATFP") on November 1, 2021 and will support the further expansion of the service platform in the areas of asset management solutions, IT systems, infrastructure and finance with their expertise.

Christian Sperschneider(CH, 1977) was responsible for the support of insurance partners as team leader at Leonteq from 2009 to 2021. Prior to that, he played a key role in building up the structured products platform from 2007 to 2009 in the Structuring and Product Management department. In addition to his many years of experience at Leonteq, Christian Sperschneider brings with him valuable experience in portfolio management as a CFA, which he acquired at Dresdner Bank Investment Group and Allianz Global Investors since 2000. In the function of Head Trading, Christian will expand the Asset Management Solutions division and drive the further development and expansion of the AMC business.

Irmo Manie (NL, 1979) has more than 20 years of experience in software development and IT architecture. He joins CATFP from Covario AG, where he was Head of Infrastructure and responsible for building the Prime Brokerage Services for digital assets. Prior to that, he was active at Leonteq as Senior Software Engineer and later as Head IT Platform Research from 2007 to 2017. At CATFP, Irmo leads the IT Development and Infrastructure division as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Nicolas Hofstetter (CH, 1991) joined the Tezos Foundation from 2019 to 2021 as Head of Finance in the area of blockchain and digital assets. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor for banks and securities firms at PwC Switzerland from 2007 to 2019. Nicolas is a Swiss Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fiduciary and holds a CAS in Blockchain from the University of Zurich. At CATFP, Nicolas is Head of Finance and responsible for the expansion and automation of the Finance and Controlling departments.

Raphael Oertli (CH, 1985) was Senior Product Manager at Leonteq from 2012 to 2021 responsible for the opening, documentation and life cycle management of structured products as well as for the implementation of regulatory changes and process automations. Most recently, he was a business analyst in the area of actively managed certificates (AMC's). At CATFP, as Head Products & Services, Raphael continues to expand the life-cycle management platform and automate work processes along the value chain.

Luca Pangerc (CH, 1997) worked at Leonteq from 2018 to 2021 as Junior Software Developer and subsequently as DevOps Developer. Prior to that, he was active at UBS AG as a Junior Software Engineer from 2013 to 2018. At CATFP, Luca Pangerc is a member of the IT development team in Zurich and is also completing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the ZHAW in Winterthur.
